Tested system not cooling for the upstairs level. Tested from thermostat and found the compressor is not starting due to a failed capacitor and hard start kit. Condenser coil is also dirty, insulation on the line side is deteriorated, contactor is burnt/pitted, and no locking cap or wet switch installed on the unit. also found that the drain lines are not routed very well and customer also stated that he’s had many problems with clogging before. Today we completed all the repairs to get the system up and running including the capacitor, hard start kit, armor, flex, insulation, locking cap, and contactor. We will return to reroute his drain into the vent stack next week, and that appointment is scheduled. After repairs were completed, tested everything and found no failures at this time.

Homeowner had his house pressure washed recently. This started to cause his hall way and garage circuit to start tripping. The flood lights are on this same circuit. It seems the ring flood light received water causing the breaker to trip. Now that the water is drying out the breaker is not tripping. I was unable to get the breaker to trip while on site. I did discuss some issues with the basement main panel and sub panel with the homeowner. I left some options to get the problems fixed. The homeowner does not want to move forward at this time
